Top places to make child's winter vacations enjoyable at the capital.

         



    
       Winter vacations are nearing and parents would be very busy planning on things to do with children. The winter vacation would get the Christmas and New year celebrations around the world and it is very special when it comes to UK. Christmas and New Year are especially known for the  lights and we can see the United Kingdom and London city glowing  up with light works everywhere.

        The decoration of lights has started everywhere and the children are more anticipating to welcome the winter vacations and their celebrations. Here I would refer  some places where you can take your children during this vacation and keep them engaged and enjoyed.

1).Winter Wonderland:

          One of the most famous winter festival that no one staying in UK wish to miss is Winter Wonderland at Hyde park. The winter wonderland is much filled with joy and happiness for both you and your children. There are many Christmas markets to buy foods, drinks and gifts for the family.


        It has the greatest Ice rinks in the UK , and also the ice sculptures where  you and your children can enjoy the beauty of ice. There you can enjoy the giant wheel of 60 metre long and circus shows by getting your pre booked tickets.    

2).Kew Gardens:

         Christmas at Kew Gardens is another famous botanical garden which is lit up with lights every year for Christmas. you can plan a Christmas evening at Kew with your child to enjoy both the beauty of nature and the lights.


           You can come across all the majestic heritage trees on the way illuminated with light decorations. you can have a look at the Aurora and the Temperate Houses along the way. The child can also enjoy the lights at the Christmas Cathedral  and get some festive drinks/hot drinks that would be soothing for the cold.

3). Disney's Frozen in Covent Garden:

           This year Covent Garden's Christmas celebration is made for children with the Frozen Forest. The child will definitely love to immerse themselves into the  Frozen Forest dressed up with snow and ice accompanied with their favourite "Let it Go" background music. 

4).Winterfest -Wembley Park:

           Wembley's Winterfest is known for its lights and the UK's tallest LED Christmas tree made up of 100,000 mesmerising lights where the children gets mesmerized by it. 


          The Sonic Runway and the Star Box are some other interesting things to enjoy in Wembley park and the most important of all is , it's free of cost for everyone. Its open for all and your child would love it a lot.

5).Famous street lights:

         The capital is noted especially for its Christmas lights attracts everyone from children to the older ones. The most famous lightings of Oxford Street and Regent streets are well known among all. Everyone can enjoy the lightings of Christmas by just a stroll at Oxford/Regent Street  and having a look at the seasonal window displays of popular retailers. You can also grab a Christmas gift for your child from the world's famous "Hamleys" toyshop. It would be a great pleasure for the child.
